The April 2019 edition of Boner magazine’s theme was reinvention.

With this idea, I imagined self-reinvention as a new birth, a new way to believe in yourself and being your own god. I believe that all the decisions we make, all the ideas with have create and shape our world. We basically are our „own personal Jesus.“

Worship the penis

As a man, my penis is very central in my life, and I started to imagine a new religion, that celebrate bodies and more specially, cocks.

In the 70s a lot of hippy movements developed cults to hallow love, sex and pleasure. Unfortunately, times are changing, and censorship or „morality“ took over the idea that bodies are nothing to be ashamed about, and that sex is a celebration of life.

Who we worked with

Theodore Johansson is a Swedish artist based in Berlin who designs beautiful patchworks and banners. Together we imagined some penis flags that could give some religious vibes, like the Tibetan buddhist flags. He also created this amazing „LET IT IN“ banner, that delivers a kinky but also spiritual message.

Together with, Theo and I built that enormous golden dick, as a central totem. An idol for our new cult inspired by the Haesindang Park, the famous Korean penis park.

YuLiang is a photograph I love to work with. This Taiwanese genius is a master of composition and editing. With Alex, that worked on the set design, they are a perfect team. I knew they could bring that colorful freshness touch, almost like a re-invention of the hippie imagery.

Styling the penis

Stylewise I wanted to play with colors, texture, feminine and masculine, and I felt super lucky to have all these amazing designers willing to be part of our cult:

Chema Diaz, London based bold designer, presented a very strong collection for his last fashion week. The amazing „Fuck me i’m an immigrant“ T-shirt caught my eyes, and when i saw this crazy playful yellow and red vinyl pants and jacket, I just felt in a holy love.

Namilia is probably one of the coolest brands ever! They describe themselves as „Rebels, provocateurs and destroyers of false perception.“ Paris Hilton, SZA, or Nicki Minaj are wearing their Motocross Chap Trousers and Penis top, and so are our Cock Monks.

Luigi Veccia is an Italian designer that embraces his culture. Delicate and elegant, his play on colors is exquisite. His almost hypnotic ‚mix and match‘ patterns combined with the fabric combinations give to his designs, strength and power. A mystical energy.

Benjamin Regnier is a young fresh designer to follow! This little French guy serves cute colors, bows and glitters… But if you look at it a bit more you notice the glitch asses on the bag, subliminal sex messages on the coat, and blowjobs embroideries! Benjamin is a born cock worshipper.

Lui Trash is a real Berlin lifestyle brand. Fetish yet fun, that little fashion witch developed a gender fluid collection of PVC accessories – harnesses, chokers, belts – that allows you to step up a casual look effortlessly. Fetish and easy – a real mantra.

Our location

The Village Berlin was the perfect place to shoot. This beautiful and inviting community center for gay, bisexual, trans*, queer men in Berlin is space to gather, explore, play and be. They welcome us with a pure love light.

YuLiang captured the essence of the sacred temple, lead by the magnetic porn actor Sly, in a two part edito‘ for Boner Magazine, with an LSD trip effect, and Boner World with some esoteric Chinese signs.

Praise be the cock!
